Construction projects like Kirkstall forge involve communication between hundreds of people across many industries and during our time there we have been asked on more than one occasion to send photos and videos from our high resolution cameras to engineers and planners, so they can get a retrospective view of the site at any point in its history.
The media we produce can also be a very useful communication tool, particularly our virtual tours. They are second only to actually being there, especially if you need to describe specific details of an area, think of Google street view for your project. These advantages can be enhanced by the use of telephoto lenses to produce giga pixel images so that great levels of detail can be viewed from different perspectives.
