KIRKSTALL FORGE THE STORY SO FAR

"Much more than aerial photographers"

Drones are still a new technology and as incredible as these machines are, when they are coupled with creativity, truly amazing things can be achieved.

Kirkstall Forge is a £400m development that copter-cam have been documenting since the site started two years ago. In that time we have created some compelling media some of which is below. But more than that we also use our ever increasing social networks to help promote your projects too.

There are amazing opportunities for digital marketing with copter-cam so keep scrolling to see what we can do

VIRTUAL TOURS

Everyone is familiar with 360° video however virtual tours have been somewhat overlooked. It may be because they are a little more difficult to create but as you can see below, we've got the hang of it! Have a look at the view from the top of the site office and watch the new building being built in less than 10 seconds

TIMELAPSE

Static timelapse cameras are OK but when you can mix dynamic camera moves into timelapse, it really brings a project to life

INTERESTING CONSEQUENCES

Using a company like copter-cam to document and produce media on a regular basis for your project, can have some interesting consequences.

Construction projects like Kirkstall forge involve communication between hundreds of people across many industries and during our time there we have been asked on more than one occasion to send photos and videos from our high resolution cameras to engineers and planners, so they can get a retrospective view of the site at any point in its history.

The media we produce can also be a very useful communication tool, particularly our virtual tours. They are second only to actually being there, especially if you need to describe specific details of an area, think of Google street view for your project. These advantages can be enhanced by the use of telephoto lenses to produce giga pixel images so that great levels of detail can be viewed from different perspectives.
